Sign up to be a peer reviewer for the National Catholic Bioethics Quarterly
Peer-reviewed journals like the National Catholic Bioethics Quarterly (NCBQ) need the help of dedicated, knowledgeable professionals to be effective. Applicants do not need have expertise in ethics. Their experience in medicine and the sciences is necessary for evaluating the empirical aspects of bioethics.
Most reviewers will not be asked to review more than two submissions a year, and they have the option of declining to review a particular manuscript if the timing or subject matter is not right.
Beyond helping advance health care ethics by improving the academic literature, peer reviewers stay on the cutting edge through their exposure to emerging arguments in bioethics. In addition, peer reviewers receive a complementary digital subscription to the NCBQ.
