Joint Letter: NCBC Joins Bishops and Other Signatories in Letter Urging FDA to Develop Ethical Vaccine for Coronavirus
The NCBC and several other signatories joined the USCCB in sending a letter to the Trump administration expressing strong support for efforts to develop an effective, safe, and widely available vaccine as quickly as possible. At the same time, the letter strongly urges that the federal government “ensure that fundamental moral principles are followed in the development of such vaccines, most importantly, the principle that human life is sacred and should never be exploited.”
